An artist, photographer, and educator living in Oakland, Emily Rea is an Instructor at the Creative Growth Art Center. She holds a Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work concerns place, memory, and inherited systems of power and privilege. It explores the ghosts that haunt, and the apparitions of guilt and fear that perpetuate these systems.
